BASE is an innovative app designed to enhance learning in schools by integrating football into the educational experience. As a partner tool for teachers, BASE transforms the daily classroom routine by introducing a dynamic learning approach where children can absorb the same educational content through play. The app's initial phase is structured like a sports tournament, divided into three seasons. Each season comprises four competitive levels: Regional, National, Continental, and World, along with a Pre-Season. These tournaments feature varying numbers and complexities of questions, referred to as matches, to keep the learning process engaging.
BASE employs gamification to maintain and boost children's interest, rewarding them with coins, points, and trophies as they progress through the game. The content of BASE was meticulously developed by the Vini.Jr Institute team in collaboration with the faculty of the Paulo Reglus Neves Freire Municipal School. The focus of BASE's educational technology is on the early years of Elementary School, targeting students from 1st to 5th grade, aged 6 to 10. By leveraging the universal appeal of football and the power of technology, BASE aims to make learning both fun and effective. All questions within the app adhere to the guidelines set by the National Common Curricular Base (BNCC), ensuring alignment with educational standards.
