Alternatively, self-repair is possible using a Cobbler's Kit. These kits are obtainable from various vendors (cobblers, blacksmiths), chests, and looted NPCs. Access the kit from your inventory and select the "interact" button (typically "E" on PC). A repair menu appears, listing repairable items. Faded items indicate insufficient Craftsmanship skill. Select items and use the interact button again to initiate repair.
