AVLView School Bus Module: Real-time GPS Tracking for Parents
The AVLView GPS tracking system now offers a dedicated School Bus module app for parents! Schools can easily manage schedules, designate pickup and drop-off locations, and provide parents with real-time updates on their children's bus arrival.
Key Features:
- Scheduled Trips: Create and manage pre-planned routes for school buses.
- Route Management: Define specific routes (geofences) for buses to follow.
- Waypoint Integration: Include student pickup and drop-off points as waypoints along the route.
- Alert System: Receive SMS and email notifications for schedule violations (timing discrepancies, route deviations, missed stops).
- Student Management: Add students with grade information (class, division, etc.).
- Trip Assignment: Assign students to specific trips and stops. Students will have at least two trips assigned (pickup and drop-off).
- Interactive Map: View trips on a map, clearly showing the route and all stops.
- Parent Access: Parents receive a sub-user account with live bus tracking, showing their child's journey and estimated arrival times.
