The highly anticipated Version 2.3 update for Wuthering Waves, titled "Fiery Arpeggio of Summer," has now been released, coinciding with the game's first anniversary and its exciting launch on Steam. This update, which is available on PC, introduces a host of new features and content that will keep players engaged for the next month and beyond. The update brings fresh narratives with storylines such as "A Blaze in the Dark" and "Your Summer Will Never Wither." Additionally, players can explore new Phantom Echoes, including Crownless (with its Nightmare version), Nimbus Wraith, and the intriguing Chest Mimic. For those with a Union Level of 8 or higher, the "Gifts of Grand Celebration" login event, running from May 23rd to June 11th, offers Radiant Tides and a Moment of Resonance as rewards.
Further enriching the update, the "Gifts of Grand Reunion" event, scheduled from April 29th to June 11th, and the "Gifts of Melodic Verses" event, from June 5th to June 19th, provide players with Radiant Tide, Lustrous Tide, Astrite, Modifiers, and various upgrade materials upon logging in.
In terms of gameplay, both new and returning minigames are featured. The beloved "Cubie Derby" is back, offering a warm-up leisure mode and a spectator event where players can cheer on their favorite Cubes. By rolling dice and moving their Cube across a board, players can earn rewards such as Phantom: Chest Mimic and Flight Aspect: Laureate.
During the first phase of the update, players have the opportunity to pull for new Resonators like Lumi, Taoqi, and Yuanwu, along with weapons such as Dauntless Evernight, Overture, and Hollow Mirage. This phase lasts until June 11th.
