CD Projekt Red, the studio behind the upcoming Witcher 4, has announced it will reveal more about the highly-anticipated RPG later this week.
In a social media post this afternoon, the developer confirmed it will present a look at "the innovative technology and features powering The Witcher 4 and future projects" during Epic Games' State of Unreal briefing tomorrow.
Epic's keynote begins at 9:30 AM Eastern Time on June 3 and will be available to watch via online stream.
Last year's State of Unreal presentation featured a segment on Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra, the Captain America and Black Panther game from Uncharted's creative director Amy Hennig.
A similar spotlight on The Witcher 4 would mark the first look at in-game—or at least in-engine—footage for the project, which has so far only been showcased through a lengthy CGI trailer. Could we even see actual gameplay? Only time will tell.
We'll be joining @UnrealEngine for the State of Unreal presentation.

Notably, CD Projekt Red mentioned technology that will drive not just The Witcher 4, but also titles "beyond" it. Does this hint at future games in this new Witcher saga, or could we get a preview of another Unreal Engine 5 title from CD Projekt, such as the sequel to Cyberpunk?
The Witcher 4 continues the beloved RPG series as it steps into a new era, with Ciri, Geralt's adoptive daughter, set to take the lead. Last month, Geralt's voice actor Doug Cockle responded to criticism about the new protagonist, suggesting that so-called franchise fans should "read the books."
Stay tuned to IGN tomorrow for all the biggest announcements—and that first in-game glimpse of The Witcher 4—from State of Unreal 2025.
