Global Version Arrives Packed with Features
The long-awaited English localization of Umamusume: Pretty Derby launches in just 10 days, with developers revealing key improvements coming to the global edition.
Day-One Enhancements
Players will immediately enjoy landscape mode during races and a jukebox function upon release. The global version will also receive quality-of-life updates earlier than their Japanese counterparts did - including the Guided Career feature that Japan didn't get until its fourth anniversary.
Cross-platform functionality allows seamless play between mobile and PC using a single account.
Accelerated Content Schedule
While maintaining all original Japanese content, the global version will deliver events and scout banners at a faster pace without extended gaps. Event durations remain unchanged - players won't need to rush, but won't get downtime between activities either.
This condensed schedule presents both opportunities and challenges:
- More frequent content updates
- Reduced saving time between limited banners
- Fewer resource-gathering periods
Unlike some localized games that adjust rewards, Umamusume's global version currently shows no such compensatory changes. The long-term impact of this accelerated approach remains to be seen.
