The core of the issue revolves around allegations by Nexon that Ironmace, founded by former Nexon employees, misused trade secrets to develop Dark and Darker. This legal battle continues, and as we previously reported in February, a name change for the mobile version seemed imminent. Now, with the rebranding to Abyss of Dungeons, that speculation has become reality.

The core gameplay mechanics of Abyss of Dungeons remain untouched, despite the mobile version already featuring significant deviations such as a third-person perspective. This rebranding should not be seen as a complete overhaul, but rather a strategic move by Krafton.
