Scanwords in Russian represent a unique cultural phenomenon. Unlike any other language, Russian scanwords are filled with literary questions, humor, and references to current global events. Despite their seemingly trivial nature, these puzzles showcase the Russian people's deep appreciation for the power of words. They cherish, honor, and treat words as precious treasures.
Our application offers a diverse range of scanwords, from simple to complex, featuring photographs and classic or associative questions such as "one word" or "one word, two words," reminiscent of Elder Fur's tips. Each magazine includes an English-Russian scanword and a "holey" scanword, the reason for which will become clear upon solving. Every page is greeted by a character from our cheerful family, inviting you to join the fun!
All scanwords are free for readers. This annual collection comprises 52-53 issues, each containing 20 scanwords. The complete yearly set will occupy approximately 50 MB on your phone, thanks to the small images and text-only format. We respect your device's storage space.
No internet connection is required to solve the puzzles, provided the scanwords are already downloaded to your phone. A new magazine issue is released every Friday. If you have the "notification" option enabled, you'll receive a reminder at 12:00 local time each Friday. Upon opening the app, the new issue downloads automatically and won't repeat if successful. You can also download or delete individual magazines or use the "Settings" to download all magazines at once.
The core features, including access to all scanwords, are free for users. Advertising supports the app, allowing one narrow banner per page and one interstitial ad before opening a scanword. Our advertisers do not interrupt the solving process and reward viewers with free hints for watching their videos.
Readers have the option, but not the obligation, to manage their ad experience by: a) permanently disabling ads, b) subscribing to remove ads and gain unlimited hints for the subscription period, or c) collecting hints in bulk. These options are clearly displayed in the "Shop".
Privacy Policy:
1) We use the standard Android advertising identifier solely for ad placement and performance analysis. This identifier may be linked to personally identifiable information or persistent device identifiers such as SSAID, MAC address, or IMEI only with your explicit consent.
