A former nun must defend a monster. Silent, she relies on her companion's voice. Together, they spend a night in a walled town, haunted by past tragedies. Invited to an All Hallows' Eve banquet by the town's master, along with three others, their peace is shattered by a scream and the scent of blood. The companion is accused of murder – his monstrous transformation makes him the easiest scapegoat. Deception reigns under the curse's shadow. Can they prove his innocence before sundown?
