Gameplay:

- Face cards (J, Q, K): Each counts as ten points.
- The total point value is reduced to a single digit (e.g., a total of 26 points becomes a score of 6; 20 points is 0, also known as "Compensation").
- Suits (Clubs, Diamonds, Hearts, Spades) are not considered in scoring.
Special Hands:
- 3 Tien (3 West): Three face cards (J, Q, K).
- 3 Scratch (3 of a Kind): Three cards of the same rank (e.g., 3-3-3).
