HOW TO PLAY
Ludo is a classic dice and race game where each player controls four pieces per house and uses a set of dice. Naija Ludo currently supports two players, each with two houses, controlling a total of eight pieces. The objective is to move all eight pieces to the home position before your opponent does.
MOVEMENT OF PIECE
The game begins with the player in the red house. To bring a piece out of the house, you need to roll a 6 on the die. Once on the track, pieces can move with any dice outcome. The track consists of 56 steps, starting from home and leading to the center of the board. A piece can be removed from the board either by completing the 56 steps or by capturing an opponent's piece.
PIECE CAPTURE
Capturing an opponent's piece is a key strategy in Ludo. If your piece lands on a block occupied by an opponent's piece, you capture it, sending it back to its home while your piece is removed from the board. The goal is to capture as many of your opponent's pieces as possible while avoiding being captured yourself. However, a piece cannot capture if the remaining dice outcome cannot be used.
IMPORTANT NOTE
- A player can roll the dice consecutively if each roll results in a 6.
- You must play the outcome of the dice before rolling again, regardless of the result.
- For a faster and smoother gameplay experience, go to settings and enable DIRECT COUNT.
