Using an ELM327 adapter, you can easily read Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) from Suzuki control modules. The SZ Viewer A1 software is specifically designed for Suzuki vehicles and supports both standard OBDII protocols and proprietary Suzuki-specific protocols via K-Line and CAN bus connections.
This application enables you to read and reset DTC codes, including extended and historical codes, for numerous Suzuki control modules such as powertrain, engine, transmission, ABS/ESP, SRS, AC/HVAC, BCM, PS, EMCD/4WD/AHL, TPMS, and more. Japanese Domestic Market (JDM) Suzuki cars are also supported, even if they lack OBDII compatibility.
To ensure compatibility, use an authentic ELM327 adapter version 1.3 or later. Avoid fake versions like v2.1 and some v1.5 models, as they lack support for essential ELM327 commands.
Note that older vehicles (pre-2000 model year) using the SDL protocol (pin #9 of OBDII connector) are not supported due to physical incompatibility with ELM327.
In some cases, an HVAC module may show B1504 or B150A DTCs due to insufficient sunload sensor illumination during diagnostics. This does not indicate a malfunctioning sunload sensor.
