- Location services must be activated for the SmartTyre Car & Bike app. The app doesn't use GPS; instead, it employs Bluetooth LE to locate the sensors. Continued background GPS use may reduce battery life. SmartTyre Car & Bike only runs GPS in the background if you explicitly enable optional features requiring this functionality.
