How does my child learn?

Plingo features several mini-games that are both fun and educational. Your child will master the following skills:

★ Listening – Through spoken challenges and feedback from a variety of characters, your child will quickly recognize words, grammar patterns, and the natural rhythm of English.

★ Speaking – In certain games, your child controls the action by speaking—starting with single words and progressing to full sentences! Our advanced speech recognition has been thoroughly tested with children from nearly every country, native language, and dialect, achieving over 99% accuracy in pre-launch trials.

★ Vocabulary – With 5,000+ words and phrases—and more added weekly—your child will build a strong vocabulary in no time!

★ Reading – Mini-games combine reading and listening practice, helping your child become confident in both.

★ Pronunciation – Many students develop incorrect pronunciation early on, leading to a lasting non-native accent. We prevent this by teaching the 40 English phonemes, helping children deconstruct and pronounce words accurately from the start.

Peripheral Learning

Research shows that language immersion is the most effective learning method. Plingo’s unique Peripheral Learning approach lets kids absorb English naturally through gameplay—hardly noticing they’re using an educational app. Instead of memorizing irrelevant terms (like “Obsidian” in Minecraft), they effortlessly master English as they advance through game levels.
