Conquer the King of the Monsters in Fortnite! Godzilla is invading Fortnite Chapter 6, offering players the chance to become the legendary kaiju or face him in epic battle. This guide details how to achieve both.
Becoming Godzilla:
Starting January 17th, 2025, a rift will randomly appear on the Battle Royale Island each match. Be the first to locate and enter this rift to transform into Godzilla!
Find a portal ➡️ become Godzilla!
Once transformed, unleash Godzilla's devastating abilities: the Roar (locates nearby players), the Mighty Stomp Attack (sends opponents flying), and the powerful Heat Ray. However, be warned: the entire lobby will be hunting you!
Defeating Godzilla:
For the 99 players who don't become Godzilla, a thrilling challenge awaits. Epic Games has strategically placed weak points on Godzilla, making focused attacks crucial. Destroying these weak points yields Godzilla Fragments, granting 40 health and three dash charges—essential for mobility during this intense encounter.
The Rail Gun, unvaulted for this event, is a powerful weapon for dealing significant damage quickly. Higher-rarity weapons are also effective. The player inflicting the most damage on Godzilla earns the coveted Godzilla Medallion (with a dash ability) and the exotic Burst Quad Launcher.
Even if you don't become Godzilla, defeating him offers a rewarding experience and bragging rights!
