Rule customizations include:
• Stick the dealer: The dealer must bid if all pass. • Dealer can steal: The dealer can match the highest bid to take it. • Shooting the moon: Bid the max to win, or bid one higher for an extra point. • Must bid to win: The winner must make the last bid and reach the winning points. • Junk points: Defending team may or may not score points. • Minimum bid: Set from 1 to 10. • Low point: Choose who gets the point for low trump. • Jokers: Play with zero, one, or two jokers, each worth one point. • Off-jack: Additional trump worth one point. • Three of trump: Worth three points. • Five of trump: Worth five points. • Ten of trump: Worth a point instead of game. • Off-ace: Additional trump worth one point. • Off-three: Additional trump worth three points. • Off-five: Additional trump worth five points. • Last trick: Score the last trick as a point. • Leading: Options for leading trump, any suit, or no trump until broken. • Following suit: Choose whether to play trump instead of the lead suit. • Initial deal: Six to ten cards. • Discarding: Allow or disallow, with options for nontrump or any cards. • Refilling: Dealer or maker can take the stock. • Play with trump only: Lead and follow with trump only. • Misdeal: Allow for misdeal with cards of rank 9 and lower. • Kitty: Deal 2 to 6 cards to the kitty.
