You find yourself at the entrance of Jigtrap's lair, which is decorated with sinister Christmas lights. To get inside, you need to solve the first puzzle.
Puzzle 1: The Christmas Code
- Jigtrap has left a note: "To enter, solve the code: 24 - 12 = ?"
- The answer is 12. Use this number to unlock the door by turning the dial to 12.
Once inside, you see Roast Duck tied to a chair with a Christmas wreath around his neck.
Step 2: Free Roast Duck
To free Roast Duck, you need to find the key hidden in a Christmas stocking.
Puzzle 2: The Stocking Search
- There are three stockings labeled A, B, and C.
- Jigtrap's clue: "The key is in the stocking that rhymes with 'tree'."
- The correct stocking is 'B' (bee). Inside, you find the key and free Roast Duck.
Step 3: Find Pato Horneado
Roast Duck tells you that Pato Horneado is locked in a room with a Christmas tree. You need to find the right room.
Puzzle 3: The Christmas Tree Room
- There are four doors, each with a different symbol: a star, a bell, a candy cane, and a snowflake.
- Jigtrap's clue: "Pato is behind the door with the symbol that tops the tree."
- The correct door is the one with the star symbol. Open it to find Pato Horneado.
Step 4: Escape the Lair
Now that you have both Roast Duck and Pato Horneado, you need to find the exit. Jigtrap has one final puzzle for you.
Puzzle 4: The Festive Escape
- There are three exits, each with a different Christmas song playing: "Jingle Bells," "Silent Night," and "Deck the Halls."
- Jigtrap's clue: "Escape through the door with the song that mentions 'Christmas.'"
- The correct exit is the one playing "Deck the Halls" (lyrics include "Tis the season to be jolly, Fa la la la la, la la la la").
