Meet Akuru Hayahoshi, an otaku office worker plagued by misfortune, particularly in her gacha game where she can't seem to pull her desired husbando, no matter how much she spends. Her luck takes a turn when she encounters Ren Furutachi, a strikingly beautiful and incredibly lucky individual. A whirlwind of misunderstandings leads to a proposal, and suddenly, Ren is ardently pursuing Akuru.
One event leads to another, and in her quest to bring her husbando home, Akuru finds herself bringing Ren home instead! Now they're sharing a house, and to Akuru, this cool, lady-loving girl might as well be an alien.
