World of Warcraft's Extended Timewalking Extravaganza: Seven Weeks of Turbulent Timeways
World of Warcraft players are in for a treat! The Turbulent Timeways event is back, and this time it's even bigger. Running for seven consecutive weeks until February 24th, this event offers a non-stop Timewalking experience across various expansions.
This extended event provides ample opportunities to earn a wealth of rewards, including a substantial amount of Timewarped Badges, a significant experience boost, and brand-new items.
A Blast from the Past (and Future Rewards):
The original Turbulent Timeways event, launched in September 2023, featured five weeks of Timewalking. This iteration expands upon that success, offering seven weeks of Timewalking campaigns, each focusing on a different expansion, starting with Mists of Pandaria on January 7th and culminating with Cataclysm the week of February 18th.
The familiar Mastery of Timeways buff returns, providing a 20% experience bonus after completing four Timewalking dungeons. Players who achieve Mastery of Timeways for at least five of the seven weeks will unlock the "Mastery of the Turbulent Timeways 2" achievement, rewarding them with the coveted Timely Buzzbee mount.

- January 7-13: Mists of Pandaria
- January 14-20: Warlords of Draenor
- January 21-27: Legion
- January 28-February 3: Classic
- February 4-10: The Burning Crusade
- February 11-17: Wrath of the Lich King
- February 18-24: Cataclysm
Enhanced Rewards:
Timewalking vendors across all expansions boast new permanent additions to their inventories, including Season of Discovery transmogs. Additionally, the Sandy Shalewing pet, previously only obtainable during the initial Turbulent Timeways event, makes a return. Furthermore, completing the weekly Timewalking dungeon quest will now reward Heroic gear throughout the event's duration.
Looking Ahead:
With the recent conclusion of the WoW 20th-anniversary event (which also included extensive Timewalking), players will have enjoyed a remarkable 18 consecutive weeks of Timewalking by the time Turbulent Timeways concludes. The event's end date, February 24th, hints at the potential release date for Patch 11.1, "Undermined," likely slated for February 25th, aligning with Blizzard's typical release schedule. This, coupled with other upcoming events, promises a thrilling start to 2025 for World of Warcraft players.
