Wild Rift Marks 4th Anniversary with Champion Additions and Events

League of Legends: Wild Rift is celebrating its 4th Anniversary for a couple of months. Yes, the celebrations have kicked off already and there’s a lot to come in the coming weeks (months!). So, let me break it down, starting with the arrival of a certain eccentric inventor.Who’s The New Champion?Heimerdinger, the yordle genius, is the new champion. A mad scientist, he’s one of the brightest minds of Piltover, constantly coming up with new machines that are as dangerous as they are brilliant. Heimerdinger is so obsessed with solving the universe’s mysteries that he forgets to sleep.Ranked Season 15 kicks off on October 18th, and with it comes some fresh loot. Glorious Crown Jhin is the star of the show. And if you missed out on Glorious Crown Xin Zhao from Season 12, he’s making a return to the Ranked Store. The season is expected to last until January 2025, so you’ve got plenty of time to grind.The Firelights Reignite event lets you dive into the backstory of the Firelights gang from Arcane. The event is laid out in chapters with interactive objects to explore. While you don’t need to complete missions to unlock the story, doing so nets you extra rewards. The event will eventually be added to Collections so you can revisit it later.Happy 4th Anniversary, Wild Rift!The 4th Anniversary Celebration of Wild Rift has begun. There are daily login goodies and a special visit from Nunu and Beelump.
