Get ready for an epic cosmic adventure with the launch of LoL: Wild Rift Patch 6.1: Ascending Stars later this month. This patch promises a stellar transformation, from revamped menus to an entirely new battlefield set in the Dual Nova galaxy, featuring the Challenger’s Star and Adventure’s Star.
Three new champions are set to shake up the game with their unique abilities. Ryze, the Rune Mage, brings devastating AoE damage and the ability to teleport teammates across the map with Realm Warp. Nocturne, the Eternal Nightmare, thrives in chaos, using Paranoia to plunge enemies into darkness. Lastly, Zilean, the Chronokeeper, controls time, slowing down foes and reviving allies with Chronoshift.
Several champions are also receiving exciting reworks. Garen's Courage will now scale over time, making him even more durable, while his Judgment ability will shred enemy armor. Ambessa is transitioning from the jungle to the Baron lane, with adjustments to her damage and life steal. Minor tweaks are also coming for Diana, Fiora, Jax, Sona, and Kalista.
Beyond champion updates, a new Bandle-inspired Rift will spice up non-Ranked modes, featuring Enchanted Gifts that appear through portals during the laning phase. Mages will benefit from long-awaited item updates, including the new Bandle Fantasy item, which adds extra burst damage. Hextech GLP800 slows enemies with frost bombs, and Malignance enhances ultimate abilities, making spellcasters even more formidable.
Ranked mode is also getting a facelift with the start of a new season alongside the launch of the Challenger’s Star. Expect updates to the Ranked store and an easier way to earn seasonal rewards. Midway through the patch, the Adventure’s Star unlocks, introducing AAAARAM—a fresh take on ARAM with added augments and galactic visuals.
The Wild Pass will introduce two stunning skins: Wondertown Twisted Fate and Battlecast Nasus. Twisted Fate's new look marks the debut of an entirely new skinline.
