After months of speculation and teases, Activision has finally released the debut trailer for the highly anticipated remake of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4. The development of this exciting project is in the capable hands of Iron Galaxy, succeeding Vicarious Visions, the team behind the successful THPS 1+2 remakes. Fans can look forward to enhanced graphics, the introduction of online multiplayer, and new playable characters, including the likes of Rayssa Leal, Nyjah Huston, and Yuto Horigome. The trailer gives a glimpse into reimagined classic locations such as Airport, Tokyo, San Francisco, and Los Angeles, all brought to life with cutting-edge technology. A side-by-side comparison of the graphics between the original and the new version of the game is also featured in the trailer, showcasing the significant visual upgrades.
The game will include legendary skaters like Tony Hawk, Bucky Lasek, and Rodney Mullen, although it appears that Bam Margera will not be part of the lineup. For those opting for the Digital Deluxe edition, exclusive characters such as Doom Slayer and Revenant will be available. The developers have also committed to reviving part of the iconic original soundtrack, featuring tracks from Motorhead, Gang Starr, and CKY, which will enhance the nostalgic feel of the game.
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4 remakes are set to launch on July 11 across multiple platforms, including Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4/5, Xbox Series, and PC. Pre-ordering the game will grant early access to a demo in June and the full game three days ahead of its official release date.
