Its success clearly impressed Focus Entertainment, leading to the unexpected announcement of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 3! While details are scarce beyond a short teaser confirming the return of protagonist Titus, anticipation is high.
Saber Interactive, the team behind the hugely popular Space Marine 2, is once again at the helm. Specifics regarding Space Marine 3 remain under wraps for now, but the developers promise more information in due course. In the meantime, Space Marine 2 players can look forward to continued support with new co-op missions, a horde mode, and other exciting additions planned for this year.
Beyond the Space Marine franchise, Saber Interactive is busy with several other projects. A recently announced action game set in the Dungeons & Dragons universe is in development, featuring a wave-based monster system reminiscent of Space Marine 2. Another exciting title on their roster is Turok: Origins, promising intense dinosaur-battling action.
It's remarkable to consider that Space Marine 2, released just last September (2024), has already amassed over five million players in a mere six months.
