Subway Surfers is hitting a major milestone, turning 13 this month, and SYBO has planned a grand celebration for players around the world. Get ready for a globe-trotting marathon starting May 12th to mark the 13th Anniversary of this beloved game.
The Game Is Heading Back to Where It All Began!
The festivities kick off in Copenhagen, where it all started. The 13th Anniversary update introduces fresh content in the Danish capital and launches a new daily city-hopping challenge. Players will not only run through Copenhagen but also unlock up to 21 other iconic cities, including Paris, Rio, Tokyo, London, Los Angeles, and Hawaii. To explore these destinations, you'll need to collect World Tour suitcase tokens in each city to unlock the next one.
This update marks the 200th destination in the World Tour series. Since 2013, Subway Surfers has been rotating through global locations, and they're currently celebrating the Golden Week in Osaka. This city is brimming with neon lights, traditional elements, and exclusive content to discover. New characters Saru and Oni Hime are joining the fray, with Saru unlockable through the Season Challenge and Oni Hime available via a special offer. Additionally, new social features like Player Names and Friend Lists are being introduced. Check out the excitement in Osaka here:
