Ganymede presents a barren wasteland, Io is littered with volcanic debris, Europa is treacherous with its icy terrain, and Jupiter itself is notorious for its raging storms.
This expansion also introduces two new factions vying for control: the Jovian Empire, a formidable military force aiming to dominate the region, and the Pirate Council, a chaotic alliance of outlaws seeking to disrupt the status quo.
Players can dive into 50 fresh missions with varied objectives, including hyperspace hunting to track down elusive targets, piracy missions, escort duties, and train defense operations.
The update also brings six new ships to the game: the Raider, Goblin, Mako, Boxer, Lightning, and Skybreaker. Alongside these, you can now equip your arsenal with new weapons like the Hyper Velocity Mortar, Plasma Seeker, EMP Rockets, Mauler Cannon, Electron Beam, and Neutron Beam.
New Hazards, Shields, and More
The Jupiter Expansion doesn't stop at new missions and ships; it also introduces Tier 4 shields and armor, enhancing your defensive capabilities. New hazards await, such as asteroid fields, elite enemy squadrons, and the formidable Pacifier. Some enemy mercenaries have been upgraded, introducing the new Nightmare, Riot, and Warhawk classes, adding to the challenge.
