Developer SHIFT UP unveiled the trailer for their upcoming Goddess of Victory: NIKKE DLC collaboration. Posted on YouTube May 22, fans were delighted to spot the popular chibi-dog meme Doro making an unexpected appearance.
The viral character briefly interacts with Stellar Blade protagonist Eve in the trailer's finale. The beloved meme comes to life through playful animations - striking poses, scampering around, and ending with signature laughter.
The meme originated from Soulworker fanart depicting Stella Unibell as a chibi-dog. It gained traction across Korean NIKKE forums before evolving into Dorothy-inspired "Dororong." The character's chaotic charm spawned alternate nicknames like "Gremlin Dorothy" and transcended NIKKE's player base.
The phenomenon even caught SHIFT UP CEO Kim Hyung Tae's attention, with him and his wife photographed with Christmas-themed Doro plushies earlier this year. While Doro's exact role remains undisclosed, fans are thrilled by its inclusion in the crossover.
Crossover Launches June 11
The anticipated collaboration arrives June 11 alongside Stellar Blade's PC release. Official details confirm this expansion will introduce:
- A challenging Scarlet boss battle
- NIKKE-themed outfits and rewards
- A shooting-inspired minigame
- Additional gameplay elements
The developer states: "Mobile shooter heroine Scarlet arrives to test your skills - defeat her to unlock new costumes, hairstyles, and music tracks for EVE."
Players can also browse Volt's reward shop for exclusive cosmetics and try fishing for collectible NIKKE items.
While specific outfit designs remain under wraps, the crossover promises fresh content merging both universes. This standalone DLC expansion will be included in Stellar Blade's Ultimate Edition.
