How to Locate the Garbage Journalist Cache in the Maze
To find this stash, travel northwest from the Slag Heap towards the car maze. While the maze has several entrances, use the main entrance shown on the map above for easiest access.
Once inside, proceed to the right until you reach a burned-out bus lying on its side. Look to your left; you'll see another bus with a blue exterior. Climb onto this bus to spot the stash. Descend on the opposite side and open the stash to obtain the Tourist Suit Body Armor.
Is the Tourist Suit Armor Worthwhile?
The Tourist Suit is a top-tier early-to-mid-game armor piece in Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl. It provides excellent thermal, electrical, and chemical protection. Its key strengths are its superior radiation and physical protection, mitigating significant damage from various sources.
Beyond its defensive capabilities, it also boosts stamina regeneration by 5%. Given the extensive foot travel in Stalker 2, this stamina improvement is invaluable, extending your travel time and reducing fatigue.
While effective on its own, the Tourist Suit can be further enhanced through upgrades. While Lens at Zalissya cannot upgrade it, Diode at the Slag Heap possesses the necessary expertise. He can equip the suit with high-quality modifications to significantly improve its stats.
