Unlike the three-part crafting in Black Ops II, the Staff of Ice can be found in The Tomb's Mystery Box. However, this relies on chance, even with the "Wunderbar!" GobbleGum. Crafting ensures success.

Crafting the Staff of Ice: A Step-by-Step Guide
Obtaining the Monocle
The Monocle is the easiest piece. Eliminate the first Shock Mimic encountered in a match; the Monocle will drop. Interact with it to add it to your inventory.
Acquiring the Head Piece
The Head Piece and Staff pieces require similar puzzle-solving and lockdown survival. Locate the Neolithic Catacombs' cave painting. If unlit, activate Dark Aether lanterns until one illuminates the wall, revealing Roman numerals. Shoot these numerals in ascending order (I-X). A lockdown ensues; survive it to claim the Head Piece. If lanterns haven't spawned, visit the Dark Aether Nexus and return.
Securing the Staff Piece
Find the Bull Mural in the Tombs room (bull facing left). Illuminate it using the lanterns (closest to the mural). Shoot the revealed Roman numerals (I-VIII) in ascending order. Survive the subsequent lockdown to obtain the Staff Piece.
Assembling the Staff of Ice
With all three components, access the Dark Aether Nexus. Place the pieces on the central structure. Defend against the ensuing enemy onslaught until assembly completes. Utilize perks, upgraded weapons, and GobbleGums (Kill Joy, Free Fire) to enhance your survival chances.
