Monster Hunter Now's Season 5: The Blossoming Blade continues with the Spring Hunt 2025, a special online event running from May 24th to May 25th, 2025. This update also introduces the elusive elder dragon, Chameleos, as a key threat.
Understanding the Spring Hunt 2025 Event
Participation in the Spring Hunt 2025 requires an event ticket, available for purchase in the in-game shop. This ticket grants access to a dedicated series of Elder Dragon Interceptions featuring only Chameleos, with no cooldown periods between encounters or Hunt-a-thons. As an added bonus, hunters will receive exclusive Chameleos-themed layered armour.
The event also features two Event Exchange Hubs. The Spring Hunt Eve Exchange Hub will be active first, from May 19th at 9:00 a.m. until June 2nd at 11:59 p.m.
From May 19th to May 25th, hunters can earn special tokens by defeating large monsters and elder dragons. These tokens can be exchanged for rare items, including a Silver Rathalos Plate, Glavenus Plate, and Wyvern Gem Shards.
Prepare to Hunt the Elusive Chameleos
Chameleos is a master of stealth, employing tricky tactics and emitting a disorienting mist to obscure hunters' vision. Starting May 24th, 2025, you can challenge this vanishing menace in Elder Dragon Interceptions.
Hunters with a Hunter Rank of 100 or higher can encounter Chameleos in preliminary 8-star Elder Dragon Interceptions beginning at 9:00 a.m. on the 24th. To maximize your effectiveness, equip weapons with Fire, Dragon, or Blast elements, as it is highly vulnerable to these.
Successful hunters can craft the new Mizuha Set armour, which includes the unique Chameleos Venomist skill. This skill halves the duration of poison and venom effects on you and increases your chance to inflict poison on monsters.
A wide array of powerful weapons can also be forged from Chameleos materials, including Dual Blades, Great Sword, Long Sword, Hammer, Gunlance, Switch Axe, Charge Blade, and Bow. Download Monster Hunter Now from the Google Play Store and prepare for the Spring Hunt 2025.
