In an interview with The Direct, Yuri Lowenthal, the voice actor behind Peter Parker/Spider-Man, shed light on the future of the beloved character in Marvel’s Spider-Man 3. Despite speculations arising from the ending of Spider-Man 2, Lowenthal confirmed that Peter Parker will indeed play an active role in the upcoming game.
"There are very few things that I can say about this game, but you have somehow landed on the one thing that I can answer, and that's that, yes, Peter is not gone,” Lowenthal stated. “He will be a part of the next game and he won't be relegated to the couch, I promise."
