A single glimpse of Let Me Solo Her, one of Elden Ring's most celebrated players, can leave even the mightiest Tarnished in awe, yet even he faced a grueling challenge against Bloodborne's notorious Orphan of Kos.
Let Me Solo Her gained fame in the Elden Ring community in April 2022, embodying a jar-headed, loincloth-wearing savior who aided countless players battling the RPG’s infamous optional boss, Malenia, Blade of Miquella.
By his own account, he has logged over 1,200 hours and clashed with Malenia thousands of times. His feats earned him legendary status in the Elden Ring community, prompting FromSoftware to gift him a real sword in tribute to his dedication.
In a recent video, Let Me Solo Her shared that after acquiring a PS5 to join the Elden Ring Nightreign playtest, he finally dove into the fan-favorite Bloodborne. Even as a FromSoftware veteran, he found some of its most infamous bosses daunting.
After adjusting to the lower framerate—Elden Ring runs at 60 fps, while Bloodborne operates at 30 fps—the oppressive atmosphere, and an early death to the clinic werewolf (a rite of passage), Let Me Solo Her chronicled his full Bloodborne journey, including its DLC.
"At last, I faced the Orphan of Kos. Every Soulsborne game with a DLC has that one final boss who feels impossibly overwhelming," he said. "Elden Ring had Promised Consort Radahn, Dark Souls 3 had Slave Knight Gael, and Dark Souls 1 had Manus, Father of the Abyss. For Bloodborne, it was Orphan of Kos.
"This boss demanded more attempts than any other I’ve faced, even pushing me to grind Chalice Dungeons off-stream to stock up on Blood Vials and bullets," Let Me Solo Her noted (courtesy of GamesRadar+). "He’s hands-down the toughest boss in Bloodborne for me."
