Rainbow Six Siege X, following its ongoing closed beta phase, is set to launch widely in June 2025 for both home consoles and PC players. Publisher Ubisoft describes this update as the largest content overhaul in Rainbow Six Siege history. Among the new features introduced in Siege X, available during the closed beta, is the Dual Front game mode, enabling 6-on-6 team battles.
The Dual Front mode amplifies the chaos and scale of traditional gameplay, featuring larger maps where teams must strategize to attack and defend different areas simultaneously. Each area hosts unique objectives that players must complete while engaging enemies. The Siege X update will also revamp several existing maps, refine the user interface, enhance the technical presentation, and introduce a rebalanced online matchmaking system, especially designed to assist newer players.
