This guide helps you snag the "A Prize Held High" trophy/achievement. Forget dragons and wyverns; your target is the elusive Curioshell Crab, easily captured with your trusty Capture Net.
Finding these crabs can be tricky, as they roam various maps. However, the Scarlet Forest's Area 6 (Flowering Rocks pop-up camp) offers a reliable hunting ground. This camp is conveniently located between Areas 2 and 6. Check the nearby puddles—they're prime Curioshell Crab habitat. If you're having trouble spotting it, your palico, Alma, can help. She'll mention if a creature is holding something, indicating a nearby Curioshell Crab.
Equip your Capture Net, aim for the orange reticle, and fire! A successful capture nets you both the Curioshell Crab and an Ancient Wyvern Coin. Remember, these crabs are speedy, so anticipate their movement and aim ahead of their path for a successful capture. While other locations might yield results (like Area 13 of the Windward Plains or Area 8 of the Scarlet Forest), our testing has shown Area 6 of the Scarlet Forest to be the most consistent.
