Today is Earth Day, and Pikmin Bloom is celebrating in style with its new Party Walk event. This time, rather than encouraging you to take extra steps, the focus is on planting more flowers. If you're a fan of Niantic's augmented reality, location-based game, you won't want to miss out on this unique event.
When Is the Pikmin Bloom Party Walk?
The special Earth Day-themed Official Party Walk in Pikmin Bloom is happening from April 22nd to April 30th. Instead of tracking your steps as usual, you'll be counting the flowers you plant. Each bloom contributes to the global total, making this event perfectly aligned with the spirit of Earth Day. It's all about increasing greenery and purpose, and Pikmin Bloom is rewarding these efforts in a fun way.
During the event, the number of flowers planted collectively by players can unlock weather-themed Decor Pikmin through Huge Seedlings. Here's what you can achieve: if the total reaches 500 million flowers, everyone participating in the event will receive a Huge Seedling that grows into a Leaf Hat Decor Pikmin. If the community plants 1 billion flowers, you'll unlock a Snow Decor Pikmin. And if players manage to plant 1.5 billion flowers, a Huge Seedling for a Present Sticker (Gold) Decor Pikmin, specifically for White Pikmin, will be up for grabs.
But Keep This in Mind
Remember, your flowers won't count towards the total unless you join the Pikmin Bloom Party Walk. Ensure you've updated to app version 117 and signed up correctly. If you haven't yet, you can download the game from the Google Play Store.
To make planting flowers a bit easier, everyone participating will receive a promo code. All types of flowers contribute to the goal, so there's no need to worry about planting specific kinds. Just get out there and start blooming!
