Get ready for another exciting collaboration between Overwatch 2 and the K-pop sensation LE SSERAFIM! This upcoming event, set to launch on March 18, 2025, promises to bring a fresh wave of content and festivities to the game, perfectly aligning with the release of LE SSERAFIM’s new album, "Hot."
Overwatch 2 x LE SSERAFIM Coming This March 18, 2025
Following their successful collaboration in November 2023 to celebrate LE SSERAFIM's song "Perfect Night," Overwatch 2 is thrilled to announce another round of fun and engaging content. On March 11, a trailer was unveiled via a Twitter (X) post, confirming the much-anticipated event. Blizzard had initially teased this second collaboration during the Overwatch 2 Spotlight on February 12.
Players can look forward to a variety of new skins for characters including Mercy, Juno, D.Va, Ashe, and Illari. Additionally, recolored skins from the 2023 event will be available for purchase, featuring LE SSERAFIM versions of Kiriko, D.Va, Sombra, Tracer, and Brigitte. While the Concert Clash mode won't be making a return, as it was specifically tied to "Perfect Night," the event will still offer plenty of excitement. Players can earn the Legendary Fawksey James Junkrat skin by completing in-game challenges throughout the event period.
Aimee Denett, Overwatch's Associate Director of Product Management, shared insights with Polygon on March 11 about the upcoming event. "This time around, we wanted to be part of one of the pieces that’s celebrating their new album," Denett stated. She further elaborated, "While we don’t have a new song that’s specific to Overwatch, we had to celebrate K-pop culture, so we made a visualizer for one of the new songs off their album that we’re pretty excited about and a lot of extensive cosmetics for this collaboration."
The Overwatch 2 and LE SSERAFIM collaboration event will run from March 18 to March 31, 2025. To kick things off, there will be an Overwatch 2 x LE SSERAFIM Livestream Event on March 17, 2025, at 8:30 PM PST, which will be streamed on Twitch and YouTube. This livestream will feature members from LE SSERAFIM and offer a closer look at the new skins.
