FDG Entertainment and Cornfox & Bros Reveal Oceanhorn: Chronos Dungeon
The gaming studios have unveiled Oceanhorn: Chronos Dungeon, a fresh installment set 200 years after Oceanhorn 2: Knights of the Lost Realm. This dungeon-crawling adventure brings a new perspective to the franchise, scheduled for release on Android, iOS, and Steam in Q2 2025.
Explore the Depths of a Forgotten World
This chapter trades ocean exploration for treacherous underground labyrinths, delivering a retro-styled dungeon crawler experience. The world of Gaia has fallen into decline – the mighty Arcadia Kingdom now lies in ruins, and the fabled White City exists only in legends.
Four determined adventurers embark on a quest through the mysterious Chronos Dungeon, seeking the legendary Paradigm Hourglass – an artifact capable of rewriting history itself. Their success could restore Gaia to its former splendor, but the dungeon holds unimaginable dangers.
Gameplay Features and Mechanics
Oceanhorn: Chronos Dungeon embraces classic dungeon-crawling mechanics with a vibrant 16-bit aesthetic. The game supports couch co-op for up to four players, perfect for group adventures.
Solo players can alternatively control all four heroes or switch between them strategically. Each playthrough offers unique challenges thanks to procedurally generated stats based on zodiac signs. The adventuring party comprises:
- Knight - The stalwart warrior
- Huntress - A skilled ranged combatant
- Grandmaster - The tactical expert
- Mage - Wielder of arcane power
The game features nostalgic pixel art graphics, a chiptune-inspired soundtrack, and classic arcade elements. The Steam page is now available for those seeking additional details.
