Picking up directly from the gripping cliffhanger of Season 2, Season 3 delves deeper into the harrowing journey of Gi-hun (played by Lee Jung-jae) as he navigates "overwhelming despair." Meanwhile, the enigmatic Front Man (Lee Byung-hun) continues to orchestrate his sinister plans. As the stakes rise, the choices made by the surviving players lead to increasingly dire consequences with each round of the deadly games, promising to "push the limits of suspense and drama, keeping viewers glued to the action," according to Netflix.
The newly unveiled launch poster features a chilling scene of a pink guard dragging a bloodied contestant toward a coffin adorned with a pink ribbon. "Gone is the rainbow-hued track of Season 2’s six-legged pentathlon; in its place, a vividly swirling flower-pattern floor ominously foreshadows the cutthroat finale to come," Netflix describes.
