Monster Hunter Wilds is just weeks away, and Capcom has released a PC benchmark to help you see if your system's ready for the hunt. Even better, they've also lowered the official PC system requirements!
Capcom's PC benchmark is now live on Steam. After a quick shader compilation, it's easy to run and check your system's performance. This is especially helpful given the updated system requirements.
Previously, hitting 1080p at 60fps (with Frame Generation) required a powerful setup. Now, the recommended specs for 1080p/60fps with Frame Generation are significantly more accessible:
OS: Windows 10 (64-bit) / Windows 11 (64-bit) Processor: Intel Core i5-10400 / Intel Core i3-12100 / AMD Ryzen 5 3600 Memory: 16 GB Graphics Card (GPU): GeForce RTX 2060 Super / Radeon RX 6600 (8 GB VRAM) Storage: 75 GB (SSD required)
This updated configuration should deliver a smooth 1080p/60fps experience with Frame Generation enabled, according to Capcom. The reduction in requirements is noticeable, making the game more accessible to a wider range of PC players.

Early benchmark results show improved performance compared to the beta, especially with Frame Generation. However, Steam Deck compatibility remains uncertain; while some high-end PCs pass with ease, the Deck may struggle.
Another significant change is the reduced storage requirement. Previously, 140 GB of SSD space was needed; now, it's down to 75 GB. This is a welcome surprise, considering the ever-increasing size of game files.
