Players can look forward to an expanded social hub, fresh armor and cosmetic options, and the introduction of formidable new monsters.
We now have a clear roadmap for the next big update in Monster Hunter Wilds. Which aspect of the update excites you the most? Share your thoughts below!
A New Hub For Hunters

The showcase kicked off with an introduction to the Grand Hub, the new endgame hub designed for hunting parties. This hub offers a variety of new activities for players to enjoy, from communal feasts and arm wrestling to listening to the Diva's nightly performances. There's also a fun Barrel Bowling mini-game where players can earn vouchers and rewards. To unlock the Grand Hub, reach Hunter Rank 16 and speak with Tetsuzan in Suja, the Peaks of Accord.
Mizutsune Arrives

Title Update 1 introduces the elegant yet dangerous Mizutsune, known for its swift tail strikes and powerful water jets. To encounter this monster, players must achieve Hunter Rank 21 and visit Kanya in the Scarlet Forest for the quest. Successful hunts will reward you with new gear to craft.
Additional Hunts on the Way
An upcoming Event Quest will feature Arch-tempered Rey Dau, a formidable challenge for players at Hunter Rank 50 and above, with new armor as a reward. Additionally, players can now re-fight Zoh Shia through new quests after reaching Hunter Rank 50, unlocking new armor crafting options.
Arena Quests
Speedrun enthusiasts will enjoy the new Arena Quests, designed to test hunters' skills and speed. Both Challenge and Free Challenge Quests are available, with pendants awarded for participation and top performances. Access these quests at the counter in the Grand Hub.
Change Alma's Outfit
Handlers are getting a fashion update too! Alma, a beloved character, will have new cosmetic options available through an appearance menu at camp. A free outfit and the ability to change Alma's glasses after completing a specific side mission add a personal touch to your adventure.
More DLC is on the Way

Alongside Title Update 1, a range of free and paid DLC will be released. Free additions include classic gestures from previous Monster Hunter games, while the Cosmetic DLC Pack 1 offers exclusive items available through the store or for those with the Cosmetic DLC Pass or Premium Deluxe Edition. Look out for new stickers, Alma's new looks, and more.
More Event Quests and Seasonal Events

The update also includes new Event Quests and Seasonal Events. The Grand Hub will transform during these events, with special meals and limited-time equipment, gestures, and decorations. The Festival of Accord: Blossomdance kicks off on April 23, featuring cherry blossoms and new decor. Capcom plans to bring back most previous events and quests.
The Roadmap Ahead

Title Update 1 will roll out starting April 3 for U.S. players, followed by the Blossomdance on April 22, and the Arch-tempered Rey Dau quest on April 29. More features and a Capcom collaboration are slated for the end of May.
Monster Hunter Wilds Title Update 2

The showcase concluded with a sneak peek at Title Update 2, set to release this summer. While no specific date was announced, an image hinted at the return of the fan-favorite Lagiacrus, promising thrilling encounters.
