Returning and Enhanced Features in Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater
Peep Demo Theater Makes a Comeback

Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater has received an M for Mature rating from the ESRB. The rating summary confirms the inclusion of the Peep Demo Theater, indicating the developers' commitment to faithfully recreating the original experience.
The Peep Demo Theater was an extra feature in versions of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater like Subsistence and the HD Collection. It allows players to view all cutscenes featuring the spy EVA in her underwear. Players can freely control the camera, zooming in on any part of her body. Unlocking this mode requires players to collect all other cutscenes in the Demo Theater, which typically necessitates completing the game four times.
While the Mature rating was expected due to the game's violent themes, the return of this controversial feature, often dubbed "Creepy mode," has surprised many fans who assumed its explicit nature would lead to its removal.
Streamlined Camouflage System
A notable gameplay improvement in MGS Delta is a faster method for changing camouflage. An official video posted by METAL GEAR OFFICIAL on X (formerly Twitter) on March 28 showcased this updated process. The post stated, "Change camouflage for faces, uniforms, and more on the fly with this new feature in METAL GEAR SOLID Δ: SNAKE EATER."
The footage reveals that players can now swap their camouflage in under three seconds. This is a significant upgrade from the original game, where changing camo was a slow process requiring players to pause, navigate menus, and select an option—a disruption to the stealth gameplay's flow and immersion.
With the release of Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater approaching, fans anticipate a remake that honors the original while incorporating quality-of-life enhancements for a smoother experience. The game is scheduled for release on August 26, 2025, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
