One More Level, the studio behind the acclaimed Ghostrunner series, has revealed a new project: Cyber Slash. Known for their fast-paced, brutal action games, One More Level is shifting gears with this title, set in a dark, alternate-history Napoleonic era.
While the studio is also developing Project Swift, slated for a 2028 release, the newly unveiled image strongly suggests Cyber Slash is the focus of their current efforts.

Cyber Slash promises an epic reimagining of the early 19th century, pitting legendary heroes against terrifying, unknown forces. The gameplay will maintain a challenging, action-packed feel, but will depart from the traditional Souls-like formula. While parrying and exploiting enemy weaknesses will remain important, the protagonist will undergo mutations throughout the game, adding a unique evolutionary element. This departure from their previous work suggests a fresh and exciting direction for One More Level.
