iOS App Store Welcomes Back 'The Pathless'

The acclaimed action-adventure game, The Pathless, returns to mobile devices! Previously an Apple Arcade and console exclusive, it's now available as a standalone iOS release. This means you can revisit the expansive open world and precise archery combat without needing an Apple Arcade subscription or a console.

This minimalist masterpiece, from the creators of Abzû, offers a rich experience despite its uncluttered design. Players assume the role of a nameless hunter, tasked with lifting a curse from a mysterious island using mystical abilities and a trusty bow and arrow.

The Pathless's mobile resurrection is welcome news, especially for those who previously enjoyed its unique gameplay. While some games fade after their Apple Arcade run, The Pathless’s standalone release highlights a potential silver lining. Its initial Apple Arcade presence may have been instrumental in securing its mobile future. Originally slated as a console exclusive, the game's positive reception on Apple Arcade likely paved the way for this broader mobile launch.
