The visually stunning life simulation game inZoi is set to launch on PS5 sometime in 2026, though an Xbox version appears to be further out.
Publisher Krafton could not provide a more specific release window or a concrete date, but stated on social media that the development team "is working hard to bring you the best possible experience on PS5."
The company also confirmed that an Xbox release "is under consideration but has not been finalized," offering little hope for Xbox fans in the near term.
inZoi is a god-game life simulator where players have the power to reshape the game world, creating endless stories through diverse life forms. The first free DLC, Island Getaway, launches on August 20, which also marks the game's debut on Mac.
According to the developers, the Southeast Asia-inspired map for the DLC was "shaped by player feedback dating back to the Early Access launch earlier this year." The new dual-island region, Cahaya, introduces activities such as swimming, snorkeling, and farming.
IGN's review of inZoi scored the game a 6/10, stating: "inZoi is an ambitious and visually impressive life simulator, but it currently lacks the depth needed to fully deliver on its promise."
Last month, publisher Krafton responded to discussions about the game's declining concurrent player count on Steam, emphasizing that for a single-player title, sales figures are a more relevant metric of success.
