Microsoft revealed a sequel to Grounded at the Xbox Games Showcase 2025, set for release next month.
Grounded 2 introduces a fresh chapter in Obsidian's miniature survival adventure, inspired by Honey I Shrunk the Kids.
Like its predecessor, Grounded 2 will debut through Xbox Game Preview, offering early access during development. It launches on July 29, 2025, for PC and Xbox Series X/S.
The debut trailer, shown above, features gameplay in a new park setting, moving beyond the original backyard. Players will craft survival tools and face new threats like caterpillars.
Not all creatures are hostile. The trailer highlights riding ants as mounts, adding a playful twist straight out of Honey I Shrunk the Kids.
