The Star Wars Celebration has just announced that Hayden Christensen will officially reprise his role as Anakin Skywalker in the second season of Ahsoka.
Although details about Anakin's role in Season 2 remain scarce, fans will surely be thrilled to learn that Ahsoka’s journey with her former master is far from over.

Christensen made an appearance at the Ahsoka panel during Star Wars Celebration, where he described the experience of stepping back into the character.
"It was a dream come true," Christensen said. "Their concept for bringing him back through the World Between Worlds was brilliant. I thought it was all incredibly exciting."
Ahsoka creator Dave Filoni jokingly explained that he had to invent entire new dimensions to reunite with Christensen and Anakin on screen.
Christensen also mentioned having numerous discussions with the creative team about Anakin's untold adventures during the Clone Wars.
"These stories were beautifully told in animation, but I was thrilled to bring them to life in live action," said Christensen. "As much as I loved the classic Jedi robes from the prequels, it was exciting to present Anakin with a fresh look."
Later in the panel, Filoni reflected on how their shared history of working with George Lucas helped strengthen their collaboration in reviving Anakin. Their combined insights enabled them to build a deeply layered portrayal of the character.
"I always hear George’s voice in my head saying, 'faster, more intense!'" Christensen added.
