Fortnite's Lawless season, themed around heists, brings back Vaults. Here's what we know about accessing them in Chapter 6, Season 2.
The season reveal trailer showcases three methods for opening Vaults:
- Rocket Drill: Blast your way in using this new tool.
- Plasma Burst Rifle: Melt through the entrance with its laser capabilities.
- Meltanite TNT: Use explosives to blow the vault door open.
Additional methods, similar to past seasons (keycards, challenges), are likely. Expect significant opposition from both AI guards and other players seeking valuable loot.

Vault Rewards:
The trailer shows Big Dill's Medallion and numerous chests containing high-tier loot and a significant amount of Gold Bars within the Vaults.
Lawless launches February 21st. Leaks suggest exciting collaborations, including Yakuza and the confirmed Mortal Kombat crossover.
