Fortnite's new "Reload" mode throws players back to classic maps with a modern twist! This fast-paced mode pits 40 players on a smaller map packed with nostalgic locations like Tilted Towers and Retail Row.
What Makes Reload Mode Unique?
Reload mode offers a thrilling comeback mechanic: your squad stays in the game as long as one member survives. A full squad wipe means instant elimination – no second chances. Whether you prefer Battle Royale or Zero Build, this mode keeps the action intense.
The compact island features unvaulted weapons, bringing back fan favorites like the Revolver, Tactical Shotgun, Lever Action Shotgun, Rocket Launcher, and Grappler. No drivable vehicles here, just pure, intense combat.
Victory Crowns remain, and reboots provide a common Assault Rifle (plus building materials in Build mode). The Reboot Timer adds another layer of strategy, starting at 30 seconds and increasing to 40, but can be reduced by eliminating opponents. Players can choose to instantly start their reboot.
Elimination and Strategy
Eliminated players drop Small Shield Potions, ammo, and building materials (in Build mode), ensuring a constant supply of resources for the ongoing battle.
Rewarding Quests
Reload mode also includes quests rewarding players with significant XP boosts. Complete three quests to earn the Digital Dogfight Contrail, six for the Pool Cubes Wrap, and nine for the NaNa Bath Back Bling. Secure a Victory Royale to unlock The Rezzbrella Glider.
