Square Enix has officially announced the PC launch date for Final Fantasy XVI. The game will be available for purchase at $49.99, with a Complete Edition including both story expansions ("Echoes of the Fallen" and "The Rising Tide") priced at $69.99. A playable demo, featuring the prologue and an "Eikonic Challenge" combat mode, is currently available, with progress carrying over to the full game.
According to an interview with Rock Paper Shotgun, Director Hiroshi Takai highlighted the PC version's enhanced features, stating, "we've increased the frame rate cap to 240fps, and you can choose from various upscaling technologies such as NVIDIA DLSS3, AMD FSR, and Intel XeSS."
