This challenging 24-player encounter, introduced December 24 alongside Patch 7.15, reimagines the climactic battle against The Cloud of Darkness from A Realm Reborn's World of Darkness raid. The encounter incorporates mechanics from Shadowbringers' Eden raid series, where players previously confronted an alternate version of this voidsent entity. Successful raid completions currently reward both tiers of Clouddark Demimateria, with bonus quantities of Demimateria 2 distributed based on first-time clear participation.

The upcoming adjustment will allow players holding excess Demimateria 1 to convert them into their more valuable counterparts. While Square Enix hasn't disclosed specific exchange rates, this quality-of-life improvement will facilitate acquisition of the sought-after Dais of Darkness mount (75 Demimateria 2) and A Half Times Two hairstyle (49 Demimateria 2).
