Fields of Mistria will roll out its third major update on July 21, 2025, following its Early Access debut last year. This update introduces a dating mechanic, higher heart and skill limits, new events, quests, gameplay improvements, and more. The developers shared a roadmap via a recent tweet, highlighting key additions to the game.
Romance Your Favorite Villager
This update offers something for every player, with features fans have eagerly awaited since Early Access began. The spotlight is on enhanced NPC interactions, allowing players to deepen bonds with villagers. Those who’ve maxed out their hearts can now unlock new levels of connection. The update includes eight heart events, offering richer insights into villagers’ stories and personalities.
The highly anticipated dating mechanic makes its debut, letting players take their favorite villagers on romantic outings. While romantic interactions were always part of Fields of Mistria, this update marks the first time players can officially ask NPCs out on dates.
For those seeking deeper platonic connections, a new Best Friend path lets players strengthen friendships without romance.
Revitalize Mistria with New Quests
Players will find more opportunities to support Mistria’s community. The update adds new requests to the Request Board and introduces Town Repair Quests to help restore the town. The Museum will house new collectible sets with unique rewards, and the Renown Level cap will rise beyond 90, unlocking additional perks for dedicated players.
Enhanced Skills and Expanded Storage
Reviving Mistria is now smoother with an increased skill cap and new perks, making farming, fishing, foraging, and exploration more rewarding. As collections grow, storage upgrades come to the rescue with larger chests and a new auto-deposit feature, allowing players to organize items effortlessly with a single click.
